Marin + Coral is a from scratch bakery, specializing in individual and personalized desserts. Founded in 2022 and lead by pastry chef Marin Sanders, Marin + Coral strives to provide custom desserts, perfect for satisfying a sweet tooth or catering an important event. About
Us
Hi I'm Marin, the owner and founder of Marin + Coral! I'm a local San Diegan with a passion for good food and good weather. Originally a premed major at UC Santa Barbara, I transferred to culinary school to follow my passion for cooking. There I fell in love with pastry arts and I haven't looked back! Baking requires an in depth understanding of chemistry and my background in science has really helped fine tune my pastries. I always say I love being a pastry chef because it combines my 3 favorite things; its a science experiment and an art project that you get to eat!
Coral is a Shepherd/Lab puppy born March of 2022. While her culinary skills aren't quite up to par yet, she enjoys being the mascot for Marin + Coral and has many talents including napping, snuggling, and using her puppy dog eyes to get what she wants. She loves to make new friends, both of the human and dog variety, and can't wait to meet you all!
